Zombies!

I'm such a slacker these days. It's been too hot/humid to do anything, including putting on makeup that will just melt off my face..Plus my damn hair gets all weird when it's humid and I haven't felt like messing with it. Truth: I've been too lazy to do shit.

Anyway, I have some new goodies I want to share with you, just cause they are awesome!

First...I won a Whimsy Beading giveaway a few weeks back. I was pretty stoked to receive this stunning necklace called "Diamond Dust." Such a simple, gorgeous necklace. I adore the star at the very end of the necklace.



Almost a month ago now, I picked up the E.L.F. 32 color palette in "Bright" from Target for $5.00! Some of the colors are just stunning and pigmented, while others lack and fall flat, but for $5.00, you can't go wrong with this palette. I'll have swatches at some point.





Don't the mind the finger nail scrapes in the middle grape color. My baby son is a terror...period.



Around the same time I purchased this, I received a package from Rachael at The Beauty Spot, with the Sleek Caribbean (Curacao) palette. Unfortunately some of the shadows were smashed, but it's still a gorgeous palette and the colors are over the top pigmented and gorgeous! Again, swatches will come later.







Also, my oldest son Dade, started 1st grade this month. Look at that handsome face!


And last, I did an EOTD for My Pretty Zombie, using Epistaxis,(nose bleed) Moist, and Miasma and wanted to show you!

I hope you all had a great weekend. Ours was SO busy..but it's good, we got out the house a bit. And we're getting tons of rain, which is SO nice as well.

!New My Pretty Zombie swatches!

Good morning Zombies!

I am awake bright and early (that's what happens when your kids are back in school!) and thought I'd get a quick post in.

I have some new My Pretty Zombie swatches for you! (Oh and that new banner on her website?! Yeah, that was me. haha)  Some of these colors are new, or new to me. Nevertheless, they are all gorgeous!











DO YOU SEE THAT MATTE RED?!?!?! 



Of this lot, 996 and Hoof and Mouth are my two favorites. But the colors are all so unique and pretty. Miasma is unique in that it's a pastel yellow with a pretty pink shift. Amazing!

how to:

~ apply shadow primer to lid
~ take a small lid brush and apply yellow shadow to inner corner of eyelid near tear duct
~ apply orange shadow to middle of lower lid using small lid brush
~ apply bright pink shadow to the outer v of the lid
~ blend up slightly above lid crease
~ apply yellow shadow to the inner lower lash line using a liner brush
~ apply orange shadow to the middle of the lower lash line using a liner brush
~ apply bright pink to the outer end of the lower lash line using a liner brush
~ apply liner to top lash line
~ apply liner to lower water line
~ curl lashes and apply mascara

I think of Taurus as the strong headed bull. Sexy and hardcore, so that's what I went for.

What Zombie Thinks.....

ZOMBIES!

Can we please go back to when everyone liked each other and this bullshit wasn't happening? It's a Zombie beg. PLEASE! I can't take it anymore. I want to buy a couple bottles of Tequila and get you all around me and take shots till we can't see straight and stumble down the street like a bunch of undead. We all need it. We all need to take a step back, take a break, and remember WHY some of us blog and WHY some of us sell awesome things to the beauty world.

I've been having some personal things going on and all this drama is too much to take. I want to love everyone cause that's what Scorpios and Zombies do. (FREE LOVE AND BRAINZ BITCHES!) So, don't take that away from me. lol

I will not take sides, but I AM going to hide from this drama until it passes over, but let's please try to make the makeup community fun again! I want to see everyone happy and glittery!

I’m Katt and I love Makeup Zombie, so I am SUPER excited to be doing a guest look for her.  For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Katt, just a simple girl who like many of you fell in love with the bright and beautiful world of makeup. In this look I wanted to use every thing I love about the freedom of creativity I have all over my face. The colors, the shape, liner, and glitter. This look wasn’t really inspired by anything othr then the colors in my Sugarpill pallets. And for those of you wondering where I wore this, this was actually my look for attending a Kid Rock concert, I got some interesting looks.
