Matte is Murdered with Sparkle!

Hey Zombies!

The air is officially COLD here in NM. The large oak tree out from has now shed all of it's yellow leaves into my yard and all down the street. LOL Have I mentioned I LOVE this time of year?

I've been digging black (or darker colored) nails with a glitter topcoat lately. When I thought up this combo in my head, I had to implement it right then.

Isn't that freaking RAD? I love how the glitter in "Chunky Holo Purple" changes colors depending on the angle. It's not your traditional "holo" but it's super fun and unique. Also, the contrast between "Baby Got Back" and "Recessionista" is AMAZING!

The Goods:
Mialni base coat
ManGlaze "Matte is Murder" on all but ring finger
Essie "Recessionista" on ring finger
Kleancolor "Chunky Holo Purple" on all fingers but ring as bling
Darling Diva Polish "Baby Got Back" on ring finger as bling
Sech Vite top coat

Rainbow Polish "Monarch" Review!

Zombies!

I was able to place a small order last week from a cute indie nail polish company called "Rainbow Polish" and wanted to share my goodies with you! I purchased two full size polish in "Monarch" and "Cupcake" and received a mini sized polish in "Lollipop" for my review.

Today I'm going to review Monarch and stagger the review of the other two! I really dislike changing my polish every day.

Everything was packaged so lovingly in a mailer box with bubble wrap. The bottles seemed very secure to me.

Macro shot of Monarch

Obviously, Monarch is an amazing Halloween glitter! It was created with the Monarch Butterfly as inspiration, but it's perfect for spooky nails too! There are large black square pieces of glitter, setting this apart from the other glitter in my stash. I love the scattered tiny orange, black, and yellow glitter as well as the bigger hexagonal pieces. This glitter is so unique and is like nothing I own. I think it would look so kick ass over a white base! This polish is a little chunky, but Sech Vite over the top cured that quick! ADORE!

The Goods:
Milani base coat
Essie "Licorice" on all fingers but ring finger
Milani "Yellow Whiz" on ring finger (worst.name.ever)
Rainbow Polish "Monarch" as bling
Sech Vite top coat

Have you tried Rainbow Polish? What are your thoughts or favorite glitter from them?

*Yes, this is still a makeup blog, but I've really not had the time to makeup lately. And when I do, I haven't taken any blog worthy pictures. I'll get back on it, but in the meantime, you get to see my nails! ;)

*Some products in this post were sent for review or purchased by me. All opinions are my own.
