Winter Wonder, LOTD!

Happy ass Saturday Zombies!

I did a fun and glittery look yesterday and wanted to share it with you all. I didn't post yesterday because my heart was heavy and head reeling from the tragedy in Connecticut. My heart goes out to all of those affected by this senseless act of evil.

I had such a hard time capturing the glitter used in this look because it was super cloudy yesterday. But there was TONS of sparkle!

The next two pictures were taken with my iPhone.

The Goods:

Fyrinnae "Nijiro" on main lid and into lower lash line

Fyirnnae "Pixie Epoxy" patted on outer lid
Darling Girl "21 Guns" glitter patted on top of PE

Matte is Murdered with Sparkle!

Hey Zombies!

The air is officially COLD here in NM. The large oak tree out from has now shed all of it's yellow leaves into my yard and all down the street. LOL Have I mentioned I LOVE this time of year?

I've been digging black (or darker colored) nails with a glitter topcoat lately. When I thought up this combo in my head, I had to implement it right then.

Isn't that freaking RAD? I love how the glitter in "Chunky Holo Purple" changes colors depending on the angle. It's not your traditional "holo" but it's super fun and unique. Also, the contrast between "Baby Got Back" and "Recessionista" is AMAZING!

The Goods:
Mialni base coat
ManGlaze "Matte is Murder" on all but ring finger
Essie "Recessionista" on ring finger
Kleancolor "Chunky Holo Purple" on all fingers but ring as bling
Darling Diva Polish "Baby Got Back" on ring finger as bling
Sech Vite top coat

Lush Lacquer "Salt n Peppa" review!

Zombies!

It's Thursday! One more week almost down the drain!

Today, I have a fun review for you on Lush Lacquer's "Salt N Peppa" glitter blend! Lush Lacquer is an Etsy based store featuring "Handmade Nail Polish." I was immediately drawn to the store because of the fun colors/glitter Lush Lacquer has to offer.

Karin with Lush Lacquer sent me "Salt n Peppa" as it's one of their best selling glitter blends. And as you can see, there is no wonder as to why that is. With Halloween just around the corner, the possibilities are endless with this polish!

Per the Etsy store:
"Salt n' Peppa is drop dead gorgeous!!!!!!!! It is an incredibly beautiful sheer base with a mixture of different sizes and shapes of black and white glitters... squares, hexagons, rounds and bar strips make up this "killer combo". We added iridescent glitter to make it different from all of the other black & white combos out there. This is our most favorite polish now...lol! It looks unbelievable over "ANY" other colors or alone with 2 to 3 coats of polish. This polish has a smooth finish after applying a top coat. Please apply a thick top coat to seal in the glitter and allow for a smooth finish! Happy Polishing!!! :0)"

"Salt n Peppa" macro!

I absolutely ADORE this nail polish. I've used it over two different colors so far, but can't wait to experiment. I love that there are black and white strips of glitter, as well as the bigger white square pieces that stand out on a darker base color! You can also see micro holographic glitter scattered in the base which just sets the whole thing off! This is a great color to layer over yellow or orange for an awesome Halloween mani! This is the type of glitter that can be used alone and can be built up by layers or layered over different colored bases. Seriously, I have never owned something as unique as this polish and want to experiment all the time with it!

(Click images below for maximum awesome!)

"Salt n Peppa" over Sinful Colors "Cloud 9."

"Salt n Peppa" over Sally Hansen "All Aglow".

You will need a good top coat for this polish to smooth out the edges of the larger glitter pieces. I use Sech Vite or China Glaze Fast Forward top coats. With a good top coat, you can't even feel the glitter on the nail. I'm notorious for picking at my nail polish if I can feel the glitter. A full sized bottle (0.5 oz. / 15ml) is $8.75 and the bottle is HUGE and sturdy and will last forever!

Lush Lacquer's Halloween 2012 collection is now live and you can visit their Facebook page HERE to get all the details!

Have you tried Lush Lacquer? What are your favorite polishes from them?

*product sent to MakeupZombie for review. All opinions are my own and 100% honest.

*squeee* my cuticles are looking so much better!

The Goods:
