Hi-Fi Cosmetics Review and SWATCHES!

 Zombies!!!

Yesterday was a very productive day!  In the mailbox was my Hi-Fi Cosmetics order! I wasn't really expecting it, because she'd only shipped it Thursday, but...there it was. When I got home, I ripped open the lovely yellow mailer and inside was the 3 shadows I purchased, "Words are the Remedy", "Morbid Faith" and "Beautiful Tragedy." I took advantage of the buy 2 get 1 free Spring Sale- which is going on until the end of April. Use code SPRINGSALE when checking out and list the shadow you'd like for free. I received 3 free baggie samples (Parental Advisory, Night Fever, and Raw Shock) which were very generous (enough product to transfer to a small mineral jar for sure) and a sample of Lip Glaze in "Art is Forever."  Veronica also included 2 business cards and a magnet business card which I thought was CLEVER! I saw the jars and got a little bit of heartburn as they are the square bottomed jars with round tops because these jars collect a lot of shadow in the "teeth" but when I opened them and saw there were sifters with a lable over the holes, things got much better. :) The website says that in each jar is 3/4 tsp of product in a 5g jar which seems very accurate- looks to me like the jars are packed full!

I swatched the colors immediately over a white base and the one that just jumped out at me was "Beautiful Tragedy"- a stunning teal color with hints of light green and gold. SUCH a gorgeous color. The shadows are finely milled and so smooth- very blendable and easy to work with. Shipping took just about 8 days- which is what the turn around time is on her website and after it shipped, I received it in 2 days. That's exciting!

I'm very pleased with the 3 eyeshadow I purchased but this was just a taste for me. I see myself leeming for many more Hi-Fi products.  Such as: Parental Advisory, Promiscuous, Pixies, Screaming for More, Aphrodisiac, and Sugar...just to name a few. I LOVE THE NAMES!

 The Goods:

"Words are the Remedy" is a sparkling beige color bordering on salmon. Very sparkly and subtle.
"Morbid Faith" is a lavender color with blue and pink undertones. Also very pretty."Beautiful Tragedy" is a teal/turquoise color with hints of gold and light blue throughout. LOVE!

"Art is Forever" Lip Glaze is a nice deep maroon color with lots of shimmer- does not go on as dark as it appears in the jar. I liked the consistency and it didn't seem gritty, greasy, and did not have an overpowering aroma. It is nice- though a little messy in the sample plastic container.

I give Hi-Fi cosmetics 5 out of 5 Zombies!

As always the views and opinions in this review are my own and I was not paid for this review...

Have any of your tried Hi-Fi Cosemetics? What are your favorite eyeshadows from the company?

  5. I've been thinking of getting "Art is Forever" lip glaze...do you have any pics of it on your lips? The color on their site looks amazing but it looks very sheer in your swatch. Does it apply evenly, or streaky?
Thanks in advance if you answer my questions!! =^.^=
