Deal of the Week: Wet n Wild ColorIcon Palette "Lust"

This week I came across the new Wet N' Wild ColorIcon Palette in Lust at my local Walgreen's for $4.99. I'd seen several reviews on it across the blogging world and thought I'd try it out because of the deep burgundy color with pink shimmer and the matte purple. (There are 3 matte shades in this palette and 3 with shimmer.) I was even more surprised than I thought I'd be. I immediately swatched the burgundy color (bottom right of palette) and in one swipe I had a huge amount of pigment on my finger. I was amazed. The shadow also felt smooth and creamy.  The matte purple (second color on the left of palette) is highly pigmented as well and very matte. I don't own many matte colors, so I am excited to play around more with this color. I am stoked I purchased this. And for $4.99, what a steal. It's a fun and dramatic palette, great for a smokey eye (I LOVE the deep charcoal color) and a subtle daytime look with a pop of color. There are two great highlight shades as well. One matte and one with shimmer.  I wore the 3 colors on the right of the palette over UDPP and it last all day!

Seems to me like Wet n Wild has come a LONG way since I wore it back in high school!  I'm very impressed and give this palette 4.5 out of 5 Zombies!
