I received my most recent Hautelook order today. I purchased two Urban Decay Deluxe eyeshadow in Sting and Adore when they had their last Urban Decay sale. Dude, I picked these babies up for $4.95 each. It does not take a rocket scientist to know that this was a freaking killer steal. The MAIN reason I got these is I adore the packaging. Since becoming a mineral eyeshadow fanatic, I haven't really been much impressed by Urban Decay's eyeshadow, but these cool mirrored compacts could NOT be passed up. I was also happy that these are a lot smaller than I had pictured in my head.
As you'll see, these are both extrememly pigmented. Adore casts a purple hint when applied. Sting is a lot more pink than I was expecting, but it was a welcomed suprise. It doesn't apply or scream OMG I AM SO BRIGHT!, but it has just the right amount of intensity. I am pretty happy with my little Hautelook haul.

@Annamax: I really recommend joining Hautlook. Urban Decay is featured quite a lot!

ReplyDeleteHmmmm, I think my favorite UD product is the 24/7 liners. They're so incredibly pigmented, and they do indeed last for hours! UD also does a hell of a job with the primers. I'm a huge fan of UDPP and their lash primer.

ReplyDeleteI am currently on an Urban Decay kick - I really enjoy their eye shadows. My only complaint is I find the majority of them are prone to fall outs...maybe its me lol!

ReplyDeleteAdore looks gorgeous! I love the Deluxe 'shadows packaging, too, but none of the colours stand out to me very much. 'Honey' and 'Toasted' eyeshadows are probably my faves from Urban Decay.
