Wet n' Wild "Eggplant Flash" nail polish!

Happy Hump Day Zombies!

Thanks to my best friend Megan, my nail polish obsession is starting to take on his huge life of it's own. I now look at nailpolish the way I do eyeshadow. I stare, I look at shift, sparkle, sheen, shimmer, undertones, and duochromes. I know how and why to use acetone and base coats and I know what water
marble, holographic, and jelly means. LOL

So, when I saw Wet n' Wild's Wild Shine nail polish in Eggplant Flash the other day for 99 cents, I couldn't pass it up. I didn't have huge expectations with it until I put it on. I was blown away and haven't stopped staring at my nails for 2 days.

Eggplant Flash is a gorgeous eggplant purple with an amazing inner blurple glow and aqua sparkles. The sparkle really only shows up in the sunshine, but the shift is definite indoors as well as out. I absolutely LOVE this color.

I only had to apply 2 coats but decided to go with 3 for maximum awesomeness. I used Jordana Garlic basecoat (my first basecoat, lol) and China Glaze's fast dry topcoat. I have had this on for 2 days and haven't noticed any chipping or really very much wear. For 99 cents, you can NOT beat that!

I hope you're all having a fantastic day!

I'm always so impressed by the stuff that WetnWild puts out, especially given their prices. ^_^

  5. Eggplant is a great addition to a nail stash! Does that garlic basecoat smell...like garlic? :)

  6. Guys it IS so gorgeous, I think you all should pick one up if you can find it.

@Kimberly, it sure does NOT smell like garlic. I smelled it before I bought it. lol It smells like your typical basecoat/topcoats.

  7. I have that color, but I haven't worn it in so long...!

Have you tried WnW's Virtual Violet? It's from the Xtreme Wear collection, so it's more expensive, but it's a medium violet-blue duochrome and it's gorgeous!!
