Zombies!
So begins my week in color using Persephone Minerals.
This look is from yesterday, but I didn't have time to post it as we were super busy yesterday. So, I'll double up today!
This is my look using all purple Persephone Minerals eyeshadow.

On ze lips I am wearing Covergirl lipstick in "Embrace" and on ze cheeks Bokeh Face Cosmetics blush in "Lotus".
We went to the mountains yesterday and I found this on a guardrail. ONE LOVE, FTW!

Have a great Tuesday!

ONE LOVE hahaha, that's awesome!! Love this and the look <3
ReplyDeleteA whole week of Persephone Minerals? Sounds like a great idea! I love the colours you picked for this look! I wish I would have picked up a few of those with my order! Love the last picture :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love your lips so much :)
ReplyDeleteI love the new Covergirl Lip Perfections! Have you tried Divine?? It is a bit similar to Embrace, but Embrace begins to border more on burgundy I would say, whereas Divine is more like a rich purple/lilac shade. I *looooove* that Divine.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty all these purples !
ReplyDeleteYou crack me up! Love the purples! You always look so great with bright looks!
ReplyDeleteLove the eyes/lips colour...and your glasses!
ReplyDeleteI love this because it's purple :)
ReplyDeleteI really love that you used Blueberry Cobbler :)
ReplyDeletesuper hawt!!!
ReplyDeleteLoooove this with the bright pink lip :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE it....blueberry cobbler and epiphany look like great colors!
ReplyDeleteLove it!! The last pic is great too...you rock the glasses!!
ReplyDeleteHi. According me, this make up is like a mask you hide behind. You have impressive features but this make up make you look vulgar and nothing to do with femininity.
ReplyDeletePurples always look good on you.
ReplyDelete@Vera: I think you're vulgar.
ReplyDeleteLove this look, of course I am partial to purples. As far as Vera goes, I am almost speechless but not quite..
ReplyDeleteVera just a few questions, how would you prefer that she does her eyes? Why is a dramatic look vulgar and lacking in femininity?
She is a young, edgy and an extremely put together woman. Your comment is just plain mean and borders on jealousy. Just saying.
@Wendi: I LOVE YOU AND YOUR VULGAR MAKEUP.
ReplyDeleteWhat's vulgar about this?! I think it's stunning! By the way, it's "makes you" not "make you".
ReplyDeleteI love your vulgar make up too! Keep the brights coming!
ReplyDeleteVulgar must be troll for sexy!
ReplyDeleteVera, STFU. If it upsets you that much, don't read this blog, and it's as simple as that. Unless you're purposely trying to be a troll fuckwit. Wendi is talented and gorgeous, and she can express her creativity however the fuck she wants - which, by the way, is AWESOMELY. She certainly isn't putting her makeup on to please YOU. Ugh.
ReplyDeletewowweee, I should dig around my Sugarpill to see how "vulgar" a face I can slap on just to make Vera crap herself.
ReplyDeleteOr was that comment too vulgar in itself?
hehehe poop.
While I have to say that I don't necessarily agree with Vera, some of these posts are far, FAR lower. Somewhere between 'high school' and 'junior high' lower. Calling someone "a troll fuckwit" to defend your BFF is still barely acceptable for a 13 year old.
ReplyDeleteThat said, onto the post!
I really do have to say, I DO think softer lips would look a bit better, but I like how it's applied. (I envy full lips!)
I don't think it's 'vulgar' on you yet, but it's definitely a 'youth' look -- I really don't think bright blue eyelids and hot pink lips would wash for some people over 30-35, and even fewer over 40, lest we look like this:

(Unless someone really likes that look, anyway, and that's their prerogative.)
I have barely started reading this blog, but since it's a makeup review blog, I'm pretty sure that whatever irritated Vera is just ONE look, out of a wide variety you probably do. :-) And yeah, the glasses rock.
Peace out, all.
Me again....just say the July 21 makeup, and those are the 'softer' lips I meant, in my last post. :-) Very pretty!
ReplyDelete(Still envying those lips.)
