I took a short hiatus from the blogaroo! Butttt, I'm back!
A little while back, I purchased two of the new L'Oreal Colour Riche lip colors in "Matte For Me" and "Lacque-onic" from Target and thought I'd swatch them for you!
I purchased leMatte in "Matte For Me" and laLaque" in "Lacque-onic".
The lipstick twist up and the ends are easily broken, as you can see on "Lacque-onic". You also have to be careful when putting on the lids.
"Lacque-onic" is a super shiny, creamy tomato red color. While the color is rich and pigmented, it likes to come off....everywhere. It smears pretty easily and needs reapplying frequently. I was hoping it would last a lot longer on my lips. It's an "in your face" red though, and perfect for Fall.
"Matte For Me" is a matte deep pink/berry color. For a matte lipstick, this one is so smooth and not at all drying, which is a total bonus for me. I refuse to wear matte lipstick if it feels like it's suffocating my lips. This one doesn't do that, AND the color lasts for a good long while. I'm pretty impressed and hope to pick up a few more shades from the leMatte line.
Have you tried the laLaque or LeMatte line of lippies from L'Oreal yet? What are your thoughts?
