So the past two weeks, I have been looking everyWHERE for the new Wet N' Wild holiday sets. I especially wanted "Night Elf" and I couldn't for the life of me locate them anywhere. I went to Target, Wal-Mart, CVS, and Walgreens and not just one of each place. I've been on "the hunt." Just as I thought I was doomed to never have one, I found a small display at (get this) my local GROCERY store! I literally drew in my breath and my son was like "What, Mom, what's wrong." They had every pallette and 4 of each! And they were only $3.99! (this is where the *squeeeee* came in.) Holy hotshit batman! I snatched up Night Elf, but couldn't take my eyes off of "Sugar Plum Fairy." What an amazing palette. Well, honestly, they both are. And the colors are so soft and smooth and blend like a dream. I swear, who needs MAC when the smaller companies out there are coming out with affordable makeup at such terrific quality?!

Today, my Mom came up for Thanksgiving and I did my makeup with the Sugar Plum palette. I also went and got a hair cut today. Pictures soon!
I used the last 3 eyeshadow in the palette (the mauve with gold (inner lid), purple (middle and outer lid), and the bronze-ish color (blended into crease) and the lightest color to highlight. This color is so neat, it's a white base, but has the coolest lavender shift. OMG LOVE!

I hope you all have a terrific day tomorrow- to my US readers! What are you thankful for no matter where you are?
Me? I am thankful for the following monsters. My 3 kidlets. I especially chose this picture, because it truly does capture each one of their spirits. My oldest is the protector (as you can see from the way he's holding onto his brother and sitting in the middle) but at the same time, he drives his sister crazy (as you can see from her elbowing him.) The baby is a "watcher" and a cuddle baby but also a trouble maker (as you can tell by that look on his face) and my daughter..well, she's my mini me, and the "reader" and sometimes she just can't believe what she's seeing on TV. LMAO These three little beings are ME, they make ME. They are my life, my soul mates, my beautiful children. I will cuddle them all day tomorrow and tell them how happy they make me, after all, isn't that what this holiday is all about?
(No, they don't normally look like orphans. We were relaxing last night. lol!)
